Beauford cars — models, engines and maintenance
Beauford is a British retro-style kit-car brand, best known for Tourer models inspired by luxury open cars of the 1930s. These vehicles are often used as wedding cars and for special events.
Unlike mass-produced vehicles, Beauford does not have one standardised model range or a single factory specification covering every car. Examples include open Tourers, convertibles, limousines and other individually built versions.
Engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes and other components can differ substantially between vehicles, as many Beaufords were assembled using donor-car parts. Consequently, there is no universal list of engines, service intervals or replacement parts for every Beauford.
For accurate maintenance information, the exact configuration of the individual car must be identified: build year, chassis number or VIN, engine and engine code, transmission, and the origin of its mechanical components. Maintenance should be planned according to the parts actually fitted to that vehicle, not solely by the Beauford name.
