Alpine is a French sports-car brand founded by Jean Rédélé in 1955. It is part of Renault Group and draws on the heritage of its historic Dieppe factory, as well as the expertise of Alpine Cars and Alpine Racing. The marque is known for lightweight sports cars, precise handling and motorsport involvement.
Its current and recent range includes the A110, A290 and A390. The A110 is a mid-engined petrol sports coupé with rear-wheel drive; Alpine announced that its production would end during summer 2026 to prepare for the next generation. The A290 is a battery-electric sporty city car with a 52 kWh battery, while the A390 is a five-seat electric sport fastback with three electric motors, all-wheel drive and Alpine Active Torque Vectoring.
For accurate Alpine maintenance information, the exact model, production year, VIN, engine or electric motors, gearbox, battery, drivetrain and software version must be considered. A110 information is not interchangeable with data for the battery-electric A290 and A390. A110 servicing includes the turbocharged petrol engine, dual-clutch transmission, cooling systems, brakes and suspension. The A290 and A390 require checks of the high-voltage battery, electric motors, inverters, charging system, heat pump, cooling circuits, 12-volt battery, brakes, tyres and software. All intervals and parts should be confirmed against the VIN and factory documentation.
