Aiways cars — models, engines and maintenance
Aiways is a Chinese battery-electric vehicle brand founded in Shanghai in 2017. It entered the European market with the U5 in 2020 and focused its European range on electric crossovers. Its sales and aftersales arrangements have changed over time, so vehicle, parts and service availability should be checked in the relevant country.
Aiways’ known European model families are the U5 SUV and U6 SUV coupé. Both are battery-electric vehicles. In the configuration published on Aiways’ European website, the U5 uses a 63 kWh traction battery and a 150 kW electric motor. For accurate Aiways maintenance information, the exact U5 or U6, production year, VIN, battery specification, electric motor and inverter, charging hardware and software version must be considered. U5 and U6 data is not interchangeable.
